| HOMEWORK HOTLINE: Monday all JROTC upperclassmen will take the ASVAB test--report immediately to the Media Center at 0830. Other classes (consisting primarily of Freshmen) will do remediation work on maps and drill. All classes will continue map reading Tuesday through Thursday. Wednesday and Friday are standard uniform inspection and PT days. Battalion commander, C.LTC Chris Woodcock will be present at the County Board of Supervisors' meeting at noon on Monday to accept honors for Battalion contribution to electronic recycling in Pender County. Of course, the holiday season is upon us. May all enjoy a safe and joyous holiday season. Abiding advice is "don't do dumb things" and we will see everyone back in '10. |

| LEARNING EXPERIENCE AT NORTH: The Trask Raider Team traveled to Pocahontas State Park, VA, and participated among some 47 teams at the Brigade sponsored "Raider North" competition. A strong showing in the first two events of the Modified Army Physical Fitness Test (push-ups and sit-ups) was frustrated when only four team members were able to complete the mile at the required time of 6:50. PT qualifiers for the Titans were Chris Woodcock, Richardo Mata, Jose Lopez and Robert McCaskill. Sole qualifier among the "contingency" personnel was freshman Jakita Lane. Work ahead for the "Storm from the South." |
